Customer AdvantageCalipore® Comfort is the trade name used for a range of reticulated foam grades for comfort applications, developed and manufactured at Caligen and marketed by Draka Interfoam. Caligen Europe’s know-how of reticulation and foam technology and Vita's experience in the comfort industry were combined in the concept of this product range.
Application
With its coarse structure and completely open cells, Calipore® is the ideal solution for air and moisture circulation in high-performance mattresses. With a ventilation layer of approximately 20 mm directly under the comfortable top layer, Calipore® allows moisture to escape and enhances even temperature distribution through maximum ventilation. Used as a core layer in the centre of the mattress, in combination with a ticking designed with ventilation channels at the sides, Calipore® prevents moisture from building up and enhances durability.
