Caligen's polyurethane foams are available in a variety of densities,
ranging from 20 to 90 kg/m3 in different structures and in different degrees of
hardness. In addition to these two basic properties, other physical properties
have been changed or added to meet the final use requirements. Examples of these
properties are:
open or closed cell structures
flame retardant varieties
anti-static
reticulated foams
Finished and semi-finished foams are processed into products that meet high comfort, safety, protection or sound insulation demands.
Foams are customised to our customers' specifications regarding size and form. The cutting techniques employed include horizontal and vertical slitting, 2- and 3-dimensional cutting, surface profiling and die cutting.
Depending on the type, polyurethane foam can be processed using flame lamination, high frequency welding, ultra-sonic welding techniques, thermal transformation and surface compression. Polyurethane foam can be coated or provided with a PU skin. A self-adhesive foil can be applied to facilitate the attachment to other materials.
